I noticed the movies seem to be a little off with their facts.
Answer: YES, this is true. The timelines are all wrong. You can try
to guesstimate where they fit into the series but you will never make it fit
completely. And even if you did… a lot of the facts are off.

Answer: YES! This was
an error by the animators.

Answer: 3 - the FIRST time was by Freiza (I still cry every time I
see the scene where he is talking about his child hood to Kakarott and we get to
hear his pain in life and we begin to understand) - the SECOND time was in the
Future/Alternate timeline when Android 17 killed him - the THIRD time was when
he sacrificed himself to save the world against Buu (again, an episode that
brings me to tears).
