In the year of 766 a half Human/ half Saiyan named Trunks is born.  His mother and father have already met him – they just don’t know it.  This Trunks of the present time has a whole new possible life compared to his counterpart.  Chibi Trunks will become a different person completely.   With his father’s attitude and his mother’s brains, he is a force to be reckoned with.  

Half Saiyan and half Human, he is one year older than Kakarott’s youngest son Goten and they are the best of friends.  Constantly getting into trouble is their hobby.  He trains hard with his father on a regular basis and always seems to be trying to please him.  Due to his fathers lack of outward appreciation for his son Chibi Trunks always tries just a little harder.  He knows his father loves him but he is able to get the affection he needs from his mother - She is much more affectionate and caring.  When Trunks was a baby she kept the cutest hat on his head so he would stay warm.  

Trunks and Goten go Super Saiyan on a regular basis.  It’s a game to them.  “When was it that the transformation to the legendary warrior of the Saiyan race was reduced to a child’s play thing?” his father asks.  But Trunks knows he can do it, and do it he does!  He has the same cockiness of his father and that creates issues in his battles sometimes.  

He is brave and tough.  He has a wicked sense of humor!  And Chibi Trunks has the oddest hair of all the Saiyans.  Its purple and just hangs loose for the most part.  

During the martial arts tournament Chibi Trunks and Goten were upset that they could compete with the adults so they beat up Mighty Mask and went undercover.  That was working until they fought 18 and she unmasked them.  So Trunks and Goten went into the Jr. division and blew everybody away!  Ultimately it came down to Chibi Trunks and Goten.  Their fight was something we had all longed to see.  I really wanted Vegeta’s boy to win!  And win he did!!!  It wasn’t a blown out victory, Goten put up a good fight – but ultimately Trunks was the master.  Being the good friends that they are Trunks offered Goten 3 of his toys to compensate and they were both happy.

Trunks had to fight an exhibition with Hercule.  He was supposed to pretend to punch the guy but instead laid it on him, although he could have done it much harder than he actually did.  Hercule was thrown across the stadium.  

Chibi Trunks and Goten went to help defeat Buu.  Trunks lost it when he saw Vegeta taking a blow.  He attacked Majin Buu.  Vegeta knew that the end was near if something drastic didn’t happen.  For the first time he called his son over.  He hugged him.  Chibi Trunks kept saying, “You’re embarrassing me” because he didn’t know how to deal with that from his father.   Ultimately Vegeta gave him instructions to take care of Bulma.  He also told him that he was proud.  Trunks didn’t know what to think.  Vegeta knocked both the boys out and had Piccolo carry them away while he blew himself up.  He did it for the love of his wife and child and the entire world.  Trunks got to be a part of his fathers last moments.  

After Chibi Trunks and Goten awoke they had to learn to fuse to take on Majin Buu.  They formed Gotenks.  Gohan noticed how much Vegeta was in Gotenks.  Just goes to show you – Like father, like son.
